Doctor Schultz has been a Periodontist in Southern Orange County for over 25 years. He grew-up in Orange, California and attended The University of California-Irvine, and The University of Nevada-Reno. He went on to Temple University for pharmacy and dental school. He received his specialty certificate in periodontics from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.
He has published original articles on guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and immediate implant placement into extraction sockets with GTR’s. These journals include; The Journal of Periodontology (J. Perio), International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry (IJPRD) and Practical Periodontics and Restorative dentistry.
Dr. Schultz holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Orange County Dental Society (OCDS), California Society of Periodontists (CSP), American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and is a member of the ITI (international team for implantology).
Dr. Schultz has been married to his wife, Michele, for 25 years and is blessed with two wonderful children. He enjoys jogging, reading, aviation, and spending time with his wife and family.
